Voir la version complète : feedback on server layout
Hello there,
According to what was suggested we are trying out a different server structure. We are aiming to address the population imbalances with the current layout.
We are also trying to move towards servers categorised by levels/game options so players can quickly find the appropriate servers according to what they want to do.
Please give us your feedback, suggestions about this.

PS: although we have introduced a separate server for trading, it is still possible to create chatrooms on other servers. This is an issue that we are looking into and will fix it as soon as possible
Seems good, though inevitably already you can see a lot of people flooding into the wrong channels, simply because they are near the top.

Right-clicking on private rooms still crashes my game.

Hello.
Idea about did PSQ-on - only on one server was perfect.
but...
You forgot - ALL users conected first in first server, where u did psq-on.
And that users not all want use psq.
In result - server where psq on - overload of users, who want psq and who not want psq and want just play.
On alba that problem was fixed: did server where psq-on - last in server list.
it would be very good if you done the same thing.
Then all can use only what they want. And first server not be a overload constantly.
P.S. My english bad, but i hope you understend what i mean.
Best regards,
SkySensei

I just wanted to add that this is a good idea.
Is there anyway you can peg servers to a certain position, or do they fluctuate with popularity?
E.g. Peg the no-psq server to top, where there is more room for people to come in and play.
The psq server can then be underneath, and only visited as an afterthought, if you require to sell/buy.
The rank category servers are good, though you get the feeling you wouldn't need all of that space, however that's the way it works with language barriers.

We've gotten a bit off topic here. The thread is for the new layout, not about PSQ and trading. As pointed out before, people tend to click on whatever server is topping the list. Other then that, the layout is great. As suggested, I would "pin/stick" the player only open server to the top of the list, and the PSQ/trader open section below that.:cry4:
going back to the 1st topic new server layout. i am not too sure of this layout. but i can see the advanatages.
a) you can log on for a game and find which server/country has the most players, so chance of a game is high
b) it keeps the chat/psq room separate which then does not take playing space.
c) for new players the level/rank servers maybe a good idea thou personaly i did not use them at start as they were empty and i needed to learn from the more experienced players
the one feeling that this new layout gives is one of no owership of a particular country but this has both good and bad points.
over all the main thing for a non techincal person is that the crash problem is sorted out

if I'm not mistaken, the servers in Albatross were ordered by how many people were in them, the papel servers just more people in them most of the time (although I have seen times where dolphini was on top)
I say give it a week or so to even out, then the feedback will be more relevant

This is my idea :
1. Psq/Pworld only
2. open Vs server: (fr/de/es/en rooms)
3. Open Tourney server (fr/de/es/en rooms)
4. Level server (rooms for rookie, beg/jun and jun+) no need to sort by nationality since the number of ppl who occupy these rooms is very small.
Any thoughts on the new structure that went live with the last patch?

It's good, although I feel the non-chat should be higher elevated (is it? can't remember).
I think the majority of the players still try and cram their way into the busiest channels, regardless of what the name is.
I don't know if space permits this, but what about one or two channels that are ONLY pangya world rooms and channels (as it is now, that ONLY allow gameplay). This would encourage the use of dedicate rooms to play in, and leave those who idles in pworld to not disrupt the maximum number of people being able to play.
I feel pworld is an area where languages matter less, as it is inefficient to play yourself in an empty english channel room, when you could be in a thriving french one. As such, make these pworld rooms (if created) non region specific.

I think one of the french servers should be changed to an international channel
