I'd like to start off with I'm not new to Pangya, I'm one of those folks who emigrated from Albatross18 - Bud007uk made me ^^

Anyway I'm Rookie A, the title not really giving me any justice.

I really should probably play more vs games but I'm totally addicted to tournaments (always have!)

So I get -19 on Ice Cannon (Not that great a score I know) and win a trophy, with 20 minutes to spare (someone set the timer to 50 minutes!)

Anyway now I get the regular "cheater / hacker" abuse and the person behind me wanting the trophy is saying "Quit or I report you for cheating!" over and over - and I try my best to explain I won fair and square and mentioned the other game.. etc etc

Anyway now the rest of the people in the tournament start abuse and cheater and hacker rubbish, and as soon as the tournament had finished I get kicked from the room. Now some of the other people in said room went on to other games on other courses which I tried but found I also got kicked as this rumour started to get around rather quickly !

So after not being able to do a game in the tournament area for 20 minutes and much abuse in whispers and the main lobby area I decided I best quit for a few hours to calm down as I was getting to that stage where I was going to give some abuse back.

Yes this was on the French server.

Ironic, we like to think we moved on from drowning / burning people simply because someone claimed them to be a witch!

I signed up when pangya started here, but only really started playing here this week, so i'm still a rookie here (Amateur C in Alba18)
My 1st game on Ice i got a -17, and the abuse flooded in calling me a cheat, a hacker, and even worse.
Seems some people consider playing A18 and here as cheating.
Just ignore them, let them report you.... its them that will end up looking stupid.

*sigh* your story sounds just like mine.
I do not speak french but understand enough to know what the topic in the chat is when i see "Fetchh" "cheater" "hax" etc, as some of the words. LeRaff in particular is giving me a hard time and also trying to spread rumors about me not playing fair.

Some of the French people are hunting honest people away from the game, also people buying cookies and sadly this could, in the end, be of great financial damage to the goa company.

Bugsy the problem is when they spread false and very bad rumors about you, you will be kicked from tourney-rooms all the time. Funny thing is i played 4 rounds of IC rising my score for the extra pang... I was called a hax shooting -17 -24 and -25 but when i shot -26 people were very nice and said gratz etc. one asked if I played alba and i said yes, and they were still nice.

It is the very few jealoux people ruining it for both us and in the long run probably also the company. I know for sure I'd play here more if I wasn't called bad things in 99% of the tourneys (the -26 was first time no-one called me hax). I only bought cookies here twice and tbh. I don't feel like buying any at the momen because I don't see why I should pay for being called bad things when I can play on another server with my friends and have fun... I really perfer the alba-lag and the loud brazils from being called bad things all the time!

From what I could work out from the French, it was because I had 11 HIO's and 11 Albatross's. Nothing compared to most alba players who've played for over a days time.

I buy alot of cookies from GOA each week too, like Fetch said it could be bad for business if nothing can be done - doesn't appear to be blowing over anytime soon sadly.

I just hope something solid can be done as these people who report it should be jumped upon for wasting goa's time when they don't have all the facts or care to listen to anyone whom tries to explain themselves and clearly point out why they're so good.

yea i normaly start a turny with ctrl + c ^^ but yea i get some pm's also about using calc, but not in the degree u guys have :/ maby my juinor lvl makes it abit easier. yesterday i made my best ever result on IC (-27) and wasnt called cheater at any point.. so i think u right saying 'it's some few bad loosers' starting this wave of cheat acusations. :/

verbal abuse and insults are not tolerated by GOA. If another player harasses you, please send our Customer Support a ticket explaining who/what/when/where and we will look into it.

Unfortunately some players seem to be more interested in abusing other players than actually playing... :skull:
