Warrior Epic Build Notes
V3.003 [2009-06-10]

Programming
• Fixed a bug that would allow players to write in the Life Counter UI
• Removed highlight on War Room Advisor during mouse roll over.
• Fixed a text truncation issue on the Game List.
• Fixed a bug with targeting shortcuts F2 through F5 where the shortcut would inconsistently target different players.
• Fixed a bug that caused players to not be able to attack with their skills or be attacked by monsters.
• Fixed a bug that would allow players to reach Trogken Swamps upon getting a level-50 warrior.
• Fixed a problem with the Guild UI that would cause the “Next” button to not function correctly.
• Fixed a bug with the skill bar that caused skill buttons to sometimes get stuck under, and between other skill buttons.
• Fixed summoned pets so that they no longer attack each other.

Design
• The Swamps are now no longer accessible. These will be the focus of the next big content update!
• Reduced download size of Warrior Epic due to optimisation of content.


Skill and Equipment Fixes – The following skills should now work as intended:

Devotress
• “Communal Touch” now correctly removes only debuffs.
• “Perfect Aim” executes and deals damage correctly.
• “Beacon of Sanctity” executes and works as intended.
• “Sacred Relic” now correctly takes 1/2 of the target’s life.
• “Strategist” now correctly applies the intended attack bonus.
• “Tempest Blade” executes and works as intended.
• “Blade Flurry” is now upgraded to correctly reduce the cool down time.
• “Noble Protector” works as intended.
• “Righteous Protector” works as intended.
• “Magnanimous Protector” works as intended.
• “Sacrificial Guardian” works as intended.
• “Bitter Sorrow” freeze effect now prevents monsters from attacking while frozen.
• Fixed “Athena’s Fog” item to not provide a stun effect indefinitely.
• Fixed “Swift Suit” to provide the correct movement speed and recharge speed.

Assassin
• “Rouse” works as intended.
• Added appropriate names to Boot items.


Pangolan
• Summoned Pets no longer have inconsistent health attributes.
• “Cure” works as intended.
• “Fire Totem” works as intended.
• “Poisoned Dart” works as intended.
• “Fire Storm” works as intended.
• “Antidotal Salve” works as intended.

Illusionist
• “Bewilder” works as intended.
• “Blood Sacrifice” works as intended.
• “Minion Rush” works as intended.
• “Ring of Demise” now provides toxic damage for 10 seconds instead of indefinitely.

Pit Fighter
• Updated “Ram” description.

Quest Updates
Northlands Rising:
• The Gauntlet – resolved issue where quest could sometimes not end.
• Secret Meetings – several subquests and surprises added!
• Blockade – mission objective has been made clearer.
• DrownedTemples – minor bug fixes

Welkin Warrens
• Rustler's Revenge – mission objectives have been made much clearer.

Faustus Estate
• Heart of the Mansion – all monsters are now visible!
• The Path of Trinity – added loot to chests and spawns all monsters.
• Deadly Slumber – streamlined pacing of quest

Ruins of Aberas
• Ruins of Infestation III – the blocked paths have been cleared!
• Monster Collector 2 – reduced excess EXP rewards.

Please check the launcher news and the date. This patch is going live as of now, we merely announced it in advance. Your launcher will patch to 3.003 after the patch has been applied. :)

Well, I think that it's a very good patch - no more "CAN'T HIT ANYTHING" bug. :) Maybe I am again a little bit disappointed - so many fixes for the Devotress and none for the Dungeon Archer - "Mend Wounds" skill should heal, too, I think. But... in the next patches... :) I was also surprised that there is no fix of "Sunken Past" map - we can't go on with the campaign if we can't complete it... And.. the last thing ... the fact that there is a "reduced download size of Warrior Epic due to optimisation of content" is very NICE. Does it mean that if I download it again it will be smaller and .. MAYBE.. better working? Thanks anyway for the great work you do. Grievery

this was a well known issue and if not bin fixed just lazy ness of goa sorry to be rude, but some ppl want to play the campaign instead of grinding day in day out to get 50 and do nothing more ^^

Remember Possibilityspace fix the bugs, not GOA.

The publishers send the bugs off to possibilityspace to get fixed, the high priority ones will get fixed before the others.

I wont PM you, but il tell you this.. They won't be ready for quite a while, sometime after release.

The devs are working on getting the game working perfectly before getting to work on the 2 other classes. There is no point having 8 classes with a game that doesn't work ;)

You just have to be patient for those 2 classes. They will be released when they are ready :P

Nice job. I see many work is done...but..i`ve spent many hours to improve my equipment and weapon with spirits to 30 lvl bonuses...and now i don`t have any upgraded items. I don`t have a gold, so i can`t sacrifice the characters for spirits as fast as others can. Every time i need to buy about 10 warriors and then every warrior i need to kill at the Arena map...
Now i need to kill them again for more then 6 hours to upgrade my equipment and weapon like it was before the patch...too bad((( Don`t understand why did u fix our improved items...

for the first time i have really tried to report the bugs, but cant find the form to do so.

i see and ugly page with three option in a blue square (refill - my goa - logout) that work.
then is the my messages that sends me back to the damn forums, and 4 more options (portal - news - forums - faq and support) that dont work at all.
cant u provide a straight url??? i mean a url really in the bug tracking system.

so my bug is with DA's 'Mend Wounds', its stated that u will regain some health with it but it doesnt heal.
on welkin warrens, the enemy mine and forcible persuasion doesnt seem to work, i cant finish those.

and u really should improve the web, stop focusing in AJAX crap and start thinking in usability. in case it matters im using google chrome.

I want to say that i am not pleased with this patch at all. I'm glad they fixed a lot of bugs and stuff, but the assassin is now really bad. The assassin has two weapons, her main 'the rifle' and her second 'the handgun', but now i fire my handgun 80% of the time. It sucks cuz it does less dmg and fires like 9237%slower than the rifle. maybe you should change it back. Maybe you guys should reconsider the handgun thing. I want to use my main weapon as my main weapon not as my second.
If you guys want the handgun used a little more maybe you should make some skills for it or sumthing cuz now the assassin trapper sucks.
That is all i have to say.

The blue quest and chest dots are STILL missing. Never mind chests, but the quest ones SHOULD be there.

Ahhh every new patch is on, 1 bug fixed, 2+ bugs show up :angry: This game is faaaaaaa.....aaaar from fixed to 100%, atm i would say 40%. But guys KEEP ON GOOD WORK, just do it slowly and safe PLEASE.

Compareable as in you only have to use 2 attacks. I'm level 38, i spammed all my attacks all the time. I did ~10% less damage than Assassins in the level range of 20-25.

My gear is great - great upgraded. Go whine somewhere else.

You sure ? rofl i use sorrow and got owned by frozen mobs, both meele and range mobs arent freezed. Sry guys, keep trying.

Also, gear with skill recharge speed dosnt work at all, i have 10% bonus skill recharge speed and without gear skill sword dance have 15 sec cooldown, with 10% bonus, it should be 13.5sec cooldown, but its same 15sec. Sry guys, keep trying.

For other skills, who are applied to party, i didnt skill. Waste of skill points if i cant use it. To bad, wish i could use all of them...

May be u should try to play assassin now? m? They have fixed assassins already. And now, after the last patch they have fixed them AGAIN. Because some idiot noob told them something like "ah, assassins made on 10% more damage then i did! Fix them please again!" and GOA team beleive in this shit.
OMFG the damage deal of the round isn`t a proof. I can stay behind and wait untill other players will kill the mobs, and then tell to GOA team " i`ve made only 5% damage deal per 1 run!!! That`s not fair!!!11111 Fix all classes because they r much stronger then i am!!!"
But u noobs forgot about 1 thing: all damage depends on your skills of playing. Someone use AOE skills and kill 5-6 monsters per 1 AOE, and someone use mass skill and kill 1 mob only. And then he says that his class is weak. Yeah, probably it is better to start a new character...Archer or Devotress for example. Assassins was suck. They are suck now. And they will be suck after new patches.

hmm i still see assassins 1 shotting 5 life bar monsters, i do think its stupid that they got nerved. BUT the fire wall skill was a bit over powered, take trial of the welkin, all an assassin had to do is walk to end of map against the door summon firewall against it let the enemies spawn and watch at them die. now that is over powered since the assasin that did it was lvl 10 ^^

fix for this: make it cheaper to upgrade fire wall. and give them a upgrade skill to improve dmg at like lvl 20. so that the effect isn't overpowered at low level (which it was). and keep things in perspective.

i know how they feel there cooldowns are to long and theyve got not enough attacks to keep going.

like Pitfighter. halve way dark caves .. OMG im out of charges now i gotta settle with 13 dmg from the lvl 1 attack vicious strike, and aoe stun 4 dmg!

still you don't hear me complaining.
they clearly over nerved assasin now. and guys dont forget that the main whiners are at warrior epic US which is 3 days ahead of us. so everything we say here is old news to them.

There is no one forcing you to play Assassin.

I just played with one. We were both very active. He did 8% more damage than me.

I like, then people are used to be the strongest, and yes you were, once they get balanced they start to whine. They want to special. Better than everyone else.

The cold hard facts is that no one cares but you.

I deal with my skills sucks, that PF's destroys it for me every time i want to use my AoE attacks.

But you know... This game's age range is about 60% in the range of 12-14.. Perhaps that's answer enough?

And what does it mean? I`m 22 years old. But yeah, may be u r right...it`s nonsence try to prove to the kinds about balance and etc.
U told me one thing, and i can tell u another. In the party with 30+ lvls assassins always deal less damage then Dungeon Archers or Illusionists. ALWAYS. So don`t tell me your fairy-tales about damage deal of assassins.

ok the firewall skill got nerved i am okay with that i already thought that would happen and i don't really care about that, but the thing that really annoys me is that in the latest patch they decided to let the assassin have an 80% chance to use ur handgun instead of the rifle. The assassin can't solo now anymore. Because you had to kite a lot. Hit and run. Now you will use ur handgun all the time and that is so slow that when you are ready to shoot you must run because else you will be overrun by the mobs. That is the real problem.
Also a problem: the trapper doesn't have that many traps. It would be fun if you had dozens of them. So the name of trapper would really mean something.
now you have in the beginning the barrier (dead shot has that one too), the miniguns that are destroyed in 2 seconds (even the upgraded versions) and later on you will get a few more but not much. Even the Dungeon archer has a
trap. The bramble thing that gives poisen. The trapper should have stuff like that. To root mobs or to give them poisen of bleed. Or stun of sleep of just dmg in multiple traps. That would make the trapper way cooler and gives it a lot of tactics.
This brings me to another point. The classes look to much alike. There are only like 10 skill different. They should have totally different skills. That would make it much more fun to play.

Ehm Treb0r, if you look at devotress skill tree for sentinel and avenger, only diffrence is 3 skills, 5th row. But its a big diffrence between them. Sentinel have group heal, avenger have ulti boss skill (1/2 hp) second skill isnt so important. Also i look at Dungeon Archer between warden and stalker. Stalker can shoot 2 or more arrows in 1 shots, warden gets in-line aoe attack, other skills are same (exept 5th row again). I agree that classes should be more diffrent in skills AND in status. But first of all, they need to balance classes, FIX skills (like devotress sorrow, it freeze mobs, but they can stil attack and after attack frozen skill disapear). Also they will add PvP, dont understand me wrong, but first they would need to FIX classes, then they can add PvP, or again developers dont care about it etc..... but stil, they doing good job, just abit to fast -> new bugs...

i agree that a lot still needs to be done. It will probably take a while untill the game is 100% ready and fixed. But i was only saying what the problems are not that they need to be fixed right away.
And it also think it will take a while, if they are willing to make the classes more different, a lot has to be fixed first. But i doubt that balancing the classes first and then change the skills is a good idea, cuz then they need to balance it again.

The game is too unbalanced for pvp. Assasin death shot has 16sek stun. You stun and put fire wall on. And just spam other skills. Dead.

At the moments stuns are too long for pvp. Because if you got one stun trough thats the game.

Dunno they mauybe fix some skills for pvp or don't dunno. But for now the game is unbalanced.

During the CB it was found that PvP was unbalanced because people could use skills to stun people for ages, while others would do over 200 damage in 1 hit with the devotresses skill.

Thats why its been closed down, and had a major revamp :D

In CB1 there was a pvp for some time.
There are 2 forts on the map. Each "castle" has a spawn of mobs. You have to destroy opponents fort (a few structures to destroy) and defend your own fort from a player and from mobs. Those mobs were some low level mobs ( i think they were lvl 1) but they spawn fast - like 1 per 2 secs or something like that.
Those mobs after spawning went straight to your base and attacked your "castle".
If i remember good, when you killed a player there was some spawn time after each death (5-10 secs i think). You had to wait few seconds after your death to start moving.
