Hello all,
there has been quite a bit of speculation amongst players lately regarding the release date of Pangya Season Three.
We can't give you a release date right now, but we can tell you that we are working on it, and we can give you more details on what we are doing right now.
Implementing Season Three is quite a bit of work actually.
The Localisation department has to translate all in-game contents, from in-game texts to item names in four languages (and no we can't "just" use another platform's translations... they own the rights to their English translation and "borrowing" would be called "intellectual piracy" ;)) which makes us the only real multilingual Pangya in the world!
The Design Studio has to edit and rework over 1,500 pictures and visual items.
The Techincal team have a lot of coding to do and of servers modifications to make.
The Editorial Team has tons of new website content to create: tutorials, descriptions, background info etc.
The Quality Assurance department has to test everything and make sure the game works properly.
The Customer Support department has prepare a safe and enjoyable environment for you to enjoy the game in.
The community managers have to prepare tons of goodies for you to enjoy!
Right now our main task is Gunbound Season Two (released next week) and after that we're free to focus more on Pangya!
So Season Three IS coming, but not in the next few weeks. Don't worry though we have some BIG events planned to keep you very busy in July and August!
Long story short, Season Three is coming, but we are making sure everything is perfect when we launch it, so just relax and enjoy the ride!

Thats good news hopefully it wont be 6 months or something dumb, but only you guys know... on another note you said you cant just borrow another servers platform or whatever, but i know albatross 18 are gathering data on ice cannon bugs for Ntreev to fix (ball bouncing backwards in canyon's or going ob in weird places) would they have to do the same with this server or would you be able to use that patch but just re-code it.

It's really great that you gave us some information and updating us on whats going on in the world of S3, how it works and all that is also very nice info.

Only why Europe taking so long time to get the season that becuase they need to translate 4 language, copy others will definitely illegal.
I'm have keep playing in Europe and doesn't know why I stop play A18.
I guess Season 3 will be release in September but hear also Albatross18 is going to release Season 4 in Winter 08.
That's just rumours don't know yet if anything like that is true.
I doesn't have seen any guild match and beside there is a lot of think that's need to fixed.
Are you going to make a guild system in the front page that show every ranking?
Yay! Hopefully the French will pipe down about it now. A bit. All I ever hear from them are "Season 3", "Season 3"; it doesn't take much effort to talk about something else.
Unless, this is actually going to spark up excitement, and now they're going to talk about it more. Well, the only way I'll find out is playing them. Still, good to know it's on track and coming along nicely.
I'm looking forwardto that, maybe it encourages me to play Pangya a bit more again, hopefully you don't screw up Pangya by that :)

Not at all i know pangya japan had a 300 second shot clock but albatross 18 didnt add this into season 3 im just hoping that goa dont add it either cos then 3 hole games will take forever, and imagine if someone goes AFK and you have to wait 3 turns at 300 seconds, that would really piss you off.
Thanks for the update tecumseh. And we will stop moaning for a while anyway :).

Yeah, 120 seconds is more than enough. Especially if you play the way I do, which is "you're probably gonna screw it up anyway, so go for it first shot". On the other hand, would it be possible to add in a 25 (or even 20 or 15) second timer, to prevent thinking/stalling and promote playing? It would most certainly add some real excitement and fast-paced gameplay (something which the 40-second timer doesn't quite give), and the opportunity to laugh at those who normally get insane scores because they take the time to get everything just right. Of course, this suggestion is probably going to be completely dismissed by everyone; GMs, CMs and players alike. Still, it's a thought.
