Dear Goa.com
I work during the day and for my sins I find I'm unable to catch many of the lovely events you have put on over the last year. I recently caught the end of the last game for the Season 3 trials and such, 3 games starting from 3pm til 5pm.... gimme a break!
Thing is, the going trend of this game is aimed towards people who are sat at home on the dole! Double pang and such between 11am and 2pm (whatever it was) - Thats hardly aimed towards the working people of the community.
May I just say, the working community are probably the people who buy cookies.
Oh wait, I've made a terrible mistake - people on benefits get way more money then us working types so probably buy more cookies and such. Now I understand why the double pang is during work hours... because us working people are at the bottom of the food chain and deserve everything we get for being so stupid as to have jobs :D

Well said, HotT. Students don't have it much easier. Being a student means that I'm having to study during the day, complete assignments in the evening (probably while drunk) and work during the weekend (although I'm on holiday right now, so I can't complain). It leaves very little time for anything else, but that little bit of time I do have could very well be filled with an event or two. Bring on idea #5, I say.

Dear HotT (my, aren't we formal today :p),
a lot of players are on holidays and would like to see events during the day, which is why some of the July & August events are held early in the day or in the afternoon.
As you can see on the calendar below, some of our next events will be night events, so no worries :)

Hot T if u read one of my earlier post i said exacly the same and Tec pointed out to me the same has he said to you. I felt cheated because i work my nads off just to pay the bills but like Tec says August is our month for luxurys:fan:.
Has for the unemployed they just reep every benefit the world has to offer and unfortunatly this cannot be helped.
But hey Gordon Brown is going to make every dole head work voluntry to get their benifits so all you dole heads out there read carefully and get a JOB.
Happy Gaming!!!! :)
You have to be very careful how you read the news Mr Dudds, Labour came up with the idea they wish to put through the house of commons to put lazy bums in some position where they earn they're keep. I'm pretty sure this part will at least happen as they hold a majority somewhat.
Thing is, alot of those lazy bums are disabled and will of course not be eligible to pick up rubbish or remove grafiti from walls and such. Alot of them just get pregnant and wouldn't be eligible. And secondly its worth pointing out that a good base of Labours supporters are the lazy bums so there is an obvious reason why this isn't going to happen. So what percentage of the lazy bums would be eligble to clean up the streets? I'm guessing the ones that are actively seeking work lol
Another thing is, to process a new law not only does it have to go through the house of commons and be agreed on but also the house of lords. In the house of lords you have all the old farts and real snobs who say yes or no to any piece of paper from the commons saying 'Hey we all agree Fox Hunting should be banned!' and they'll just laugh, say no and throw it in the bin and hey presto - nothings changed. Old pompous old gits like hunting and all the snoobby jollies that come with it, "say what? ban fox hunting.. purposterous!"
Labour can pretty much say they want to do anything they like, but as long as we have a house of lords decided what the commoners can and can't do I can't see much changing.
It's a bit like global warming I guess, its all a scam to gain power (money / control) over people, to look busy or actively governing the country and the likes. The local authorities love it as much as the big ones, can one tiny island save the environment... nope, the damage it does compared the other biggest polluters is around 3%, benefit they made China / America do something about pollution!

PS. Only person on holiday as of late was you Tec!, did we get a postcard from our buddy?... no... did we get a warning of when you were going, where you were going in case we had a problem....? no.
Your fired!
Firstly, if Labour somehow manages to win a fourth term against all the negative publicity, Gordon Brown should step down; and secondly, I think Labour have been in power too long, and we need a fresh start. Think of everything that's happened since Tony Blair first became Prime Minister: I can name many more bad things than I can good ones. And "The Jolly Scotsman" isn't any better. Bring in someone new, someone who can actually run a country.
One last thing: how'd we get so far off-topic in so few posts? I think it's a new record.

I worked out why the Pangya event times and such are before 5pm, its because goa.com can't afford to pay the over-time towards the staff...
What will happen next is several of the staff will be fired..
And we'll have a new breed of staff..
Better brush up on your Polish fellow players!

There's an easy way round the language barrier: talk vvvveeeerrrryyyy sssslllloooowwwwllllyyyy, and pretend they're 3 years old. They get the idea. At least, they look as though they do. Sometimes.
