Is there no way you can putt down the time limit for the vs matches.

I think thats the way to get ride of thoose that use help programs as calculaters and others. 30-40 sec is more than enough. Its so easy to watch people when you play 120 sec. they dont move the first 20 sec. suddenly they move then power. and then when there is 10-30 sec. bang hio straight to the cup. Please don say it is skill because that is censored.

Is this allowed by the goa team. or if we see this kind of thing. Could we report it. Or do you want proof because that is impossible.

But like i say. Putting down the time limit. Will take away most of the Cheaters.

Dear Munken,

I understand you, it's a fact that cheaters need time to enter all the params in their programm.

BUT, I'm not a cheater, I'm right now amateurB, and playing well with 30-40 seconds is quite impossible.
Because you need to watch the wind's strenght, its direction, the distance/height of the hole... lots of things to watch.

So, with a shorter timer, sure, we would see less cheaters, but less good players too

I am from albatross 18 server even tho i am english i play there because it is further ahead than goa's version, i mainly play with a 90sec clock not because i cheat but because i like to be able to get as accurate a shot as possible over on a18 server my record is -300ish in total with over 1000 hio's and im a semi pro b just because ppl like a high shot clock and they dont move for 20 secs doesnt mean they are calcing alot of high lvl players zoom to the green on par 3's to check the green slope if they are back spinning for hio or they are getting there aim set as good as they can.

I'am not accusing anyone. But i have seen many weird things when i have played vs matches. I'am just putting up my feeling about the time limit should be shorter. But offcourse i could set up my own match.

Hope there would be a anticheat program that would detect thoose program running in the background for variuos cheats.

But i'am sure that goa are trying the best to make the game clean.

Yes, they ar working on an anti-cheat right now, and if i understood correctly, maybe ip-ban.

That would be great

The only program i have running in the back is the GOA Abode Manual.

(Still trying to learn the tomahawk. *sigh*)

Yes, i have seen a few cheaters. I saw some one taking a golf shot in the water in Silvia Cannon. Funny.

I always play with a 40-seconds limit. But then I'm a fairly average player!

The good thing is that people never call me a cheater :joy:

I've never run out of time as such, but I can see how I would.

My laptop just can't churn out a constant framerate for Pangya, so sometimes I end up trying to play shots with only about 3fps. Which is tricky, and like playing golf in treacle.

So quite frankly, sometimes I need all the time I can get.

On albatross18 they already have this it's just part of gameguard that recognise's most cheat programs but then the people who make the hacks just re-work them so they get around gameguard again, and an ip ban will probably never happen and even if it does some people know how to get around that, like alot of the brasilians that are joining up to alba18 even though they have stopped accepting players from that region you still see rookie brasilians, so all in all an ip ban probably wont work but lets hope it does.

Just don´t tell the secret^.^ nor there is a way to get around ip ban.
I got ip ban here but I won´t do this ´cause I don´t think that is right.
I just hope that they let me play again.. Who knows.
Maybe we can do a vs match and I´ll teach you how to make HIO´S using you math lessons =p
We use a long time limit because we take a while looking the green, the wind, the power.....

Um... I've observed this effect many times now, and it could just be a slightly delayed connection. I never see anyone's shots moving at the speed, or even as much as I would, and the clubs always change from a 6I to a 1W instantly, whereas (even with my fingers!) I couldn't do that. And if I putt from 0.1y (you know how easy those are), I do it in under a second, but once the bar's finished moving, it says I've taken around 6 seconds to do it. To me, this seems like just a delay in information retrieval. Take a look and see if it keeps happening anyway. It's only a theory, but you might as well try it out.
