Hackshield-related error message? Look here!

Hello everyone,

We have received reports from players experiencing an error message regarding a Hackshield-DLL file when launching the game.

This is an issue that is linked to the old Closed Beta client. To save you from downloading the full client again, please follow these steps:


1. Open the folder you launch Warrior Epic from.
2. If you find a file called “WE_GOA_CB.EXE”, rename it to “WEShell_GOA.EXE”.
3. If you start Warrior Epic via a link on your Desktop, make sure you update that as well.
4. Relaunch the game, and enjoy!

If these steps do not help, please visit warriorepic.goa.com and download the full client.

Please note, this only affects players still using the old Closed Beta client.

ok did not find WE_GOA_CB.EXE”, so i unintalled and downloaded but still i get the same msg about the hacksheild.please sort this out goa tean,,,THANK YOU

Try renaming the client to something like "WE.exe"

Delete the hackshield folder (Located in the WARRIOR EPIC folder)

Then rename the client back to "WEShell_GOA.exe"

Now try running WE. It might close the 1st time as it needs to redownload hackshield, 2nd time around it should work.

I tested this, and it worked for me so it should work for everyone else who is still having problems.

if you open your start menu and right click and select locate file you should see a file that says hackshield just right click again and delete it and should work,,,,hope this helps,,,,mic66super

I have the same problem which I can't seem to fix. I never had the beta client so how comes I have a bug that is related to it?

Hello, I can not still remove this error from ehscv.dll. Although I've downloaded a new client (Wednesday) and deleted the folder hackshield with renaming files again and again. But I have an idea. Maybe people running the game normally, send to the server (rapidshare, uploaded) your hackshield folder and exchange the folders will be enough ? The best theory works in practice, so I would ask you about dropping the folder on the server (or my mail tadeos92[at]gmail.com)
